How quickly will I lose my dental fear with ChirpyChoppers.com?

It may seem difficult to believe, but the speed at which you progress has nothing to do with the severity of your dental fear. People with the most extreme fear have been able to lose it literally overnight.

The speed at which you progress depends on 2 factors:

1.  How complex your fear is.  If you can trace your fear to a single traumatic incident, this means your fear most likely has a very simple structure and can be readily eliminated.  If you are generally anxious in your disposition, and have several traumatic incidents, or were raised in a stressful household, then it will take longer to achieve freedom from dental fear.

2. How much work you do. Just reading about the program isn't going to make a difference of course :-)  You actually have to read the material, practice it, and be conscientious about asking for help to fine tune the very effective techniques we teach you.

Keeping all that in mind, remember that we're here for you as quick or as long as is required so that you get the result you want.

How does ChirpyChoppers.com work?

ChirpyChoppers.com works by actually "extinguishing" the emotional responses you have in relation to having dental work done. This includes even dramatic physical feelings like nausea, jelly legs, sweating, palpitations, and more.  It's the only dental fear program on the market that is capable of doing this, because every other program expects you to do this by willpower, distraction, or relaxation techniques.  Newsflash!  These techniques have been proven in clinical trials to be ineffective!

How do I get help to eliminate my dental fear?

We have a lot of really useful (and different) tools and support on the site, which you have complete access to as a Full Member, and this includes personal mentoring and coaching for your program.

Purchase your manual "When You Have Dental Fear", and then get personal advice, support, coaching, teaching and mentoring in the ChirpyChoppers Support Centre on this site.

Regardless of how useful you find the manual itself, make sure you check in regularly just to have a chat and let us know how you're going, and to get any help at all that you need.

ChirpyChoppers.com was created in 2005 when we realised that so many people around the world were so terrified of having dental work done that they were avoiding even simple checkups at all costs!

Without good dental care, and prompt attention to problems with teeth and gums, a series of devastating health problems can follow.

These range from something as minor as embarrassment or an inability to be comfortable or confident socially, right through to a compromised heart, with germs from the mouth making their way through the blood supply and targetting the heart itself.

Can you see why we believed this to be such a crucial aspect of health that we needed to take action?

My Own Story

I can genuinely laugh about this now, but when I was a small child it was not a laughing matter, but absolutely the stuff that nightmares are made of.

My dear old dad, a talented cabinetry maker and builder, used to fancy himself a bit of a dentist, and rather than leave a loose tooth to fall out of its own accord, he used to prop us up on the dining table and extract the wobbler with nail pliers!

As you can imagine, and as has happened with so many people the world over, I developed a massive phobia of anything vaguely resembling dental work!

As an adult I became a psychotherapist and a clinical researcher studying and developing more effective methods to help people with problems, including phobias, and I was lucky enough to be part of the team which developed NeuroStim, an amazing technique which is capable of wiping out all kinds of phobias very, very quickly.

As a result I'm happy to say that dental visits don't trouble me at all, and I tend to be quite relaxed. Of course it's crucial to ensure you have a good dentist, because unfortunately there are plenty of incompetent ones, but when you have no basic fear, and you know you can trust your dental professional, life is a whole lot easier.

And it's a good feeling to be able to smile and feel proud of your grin :-)

So dig in and have a look around to see what might be useful for you here, from the amazing anti-plaque toothpaste, to the dental phobia ebook, to the online support and the registry of good and bad dentists.

If you have any ideas on how we can make this site any better, I hope you'll use the contact form to let me know!

Wishing you happy smiles
Christine
